My last mechanic lost my battery hold down and now the battery just seats in its place next to CAI. Should I worry about anything or get a stock tiedown or else?

You can a bungy cord, not track legal, or you can get a generic battery tie down and make it work, or go junkyarding. And yes I would get it secured in if it moves and the positive contacts the any metal that is grounded it would be pretty
