Ok I am building my CRX up and I need new fenders and headlights passably a new hood as well, what would be the price difference between getting stock parts vs getting a JDM front end?

i never priced USDM parts in depth, but my JDM front end was $600 ($350 to ship from CA to MD) from Hmotors. if you are comparing to used parts, its prolly a tad more to do JDM, cause its JDM, comparing to NEW HONDA parts, JDM is cheaper.

the only thing with doing anything used is that whatever you get is probably going to need some work

here are before and afters of my CRX:
BEFORE

AFTER

**the after pic has USDM Fenders and Corner lights FYI

Might be hard to find just a hood and bumper, most shops and ppl selling jdm front end parts want to keep it all together.

I've heard many bad things about their fitment, and seen a horrible fender on a DA. But the one in my area will give you a refund if you have the reciept so you can test fit it on and decide to keep it or not. If you're not in a rush i'd shop around for someone selling some oem's.

for the Villians! I had some 15's on my CRX for a couple of years. Those are one of my favorite wheels. That and the SSR Integrals.

Im surprised no on caught this but....Is it just me or did the above CRX just add JDM headlights and hood? The bumper is still the USDM factory bumper. It looks good until you see the box bumper lenses..

the jdm front end will run u about 6-7 hundred where stock fenders/hood/headlights can cost you about 2 hundred.

Damn I dunno about you guys but I liked the USDM front end better. I just don't see what's so great about the JDM front.

the headlights are shaped alot nicer and look ALOT cleaner than usdm's and the hood looks way better than the inside scooping usdm, its your call if you think its worth it or not.

dont forget the wrap around turn signals...or split front grill....or sidemarkers on the fenders...or jap writing on the hood....or single bulb corners and headlights...SIR is WAY better...oh...and it weighs less too

yea I dont think the difference is night and day, but I dont see how the usdm front end is exactly "better", I mean the jdm front end is like a perfection of the usdm front.
