jdm H22 wireing help.....
ok guys so everything is done on the H22 swap except for the missing sensors/plugs that the h23 wiring harness did not come with. i just need to know where these need to go and just how many are going to be needed. i think its just the vtec solenoid and oil pressure switch? i have heard that some preludes come equipped with the vtec solenoid already mounted to passenger strut tower?
ok so i know where the vtec solenoid is on the h22 but i dont know where the oil pressure switch is?
i guess what im trying to get at is. does anyone have a link or some photos that will help me on wiring this thing up, also need info/pictures of what to do when it comes to wireing it all up to the ECU (like what wire goes where in the pins)
sorry if this is so long, but thats the only way i could explain it. im doin this swap for a friend so i want it to run well. thanks Noel
edit: jdm H22 going into a 93 prelude si

thanks again Noel

as long as its a manual going into a manual then the mortor mounts between the s si and vtec are the same, but if it s a manual going into a previously auto you need some different mounts
as for wiring look at the top of the page for the FAQ there are some threads in there that have info on wiring it up.

just like Tom said, the motor mounts will work if its a manual to manual or an auto to auto swap.
Also depending on the year of the vehicle, it may already have the vtec wire. if you just check the plugs to the ecu, check connector a4 and d6 (?) if you have wires already connected to one those, which ever is the vtec solenoid ( a4 i believe) then your car is already wired for that but you will still have to run one wire to the ecu for the vtec pressure switch.
You will also need the ecu pins to connect the wires to the ecu. I may still have a few that i can sell if needed.
