sorry for the bad pics..ill take better ones when its daylight...its a home depot lip...its cove base held on with double sided flooring tape...

 

not bad, you should paint your bumpers and lip black, with that bumper paint, itll look good

How sturdy is the double sided flooring tape?

 

thanks guys...it only cost about $10 and took about 10 mins...just sprayed the bumper with brake cleaner...wiped it down...applied tape to bumper then put it on...took like 10 minutes...i didnt like the whole riveting and stuff...so i took my own approach

 

did that a few years ago, the lip sagged, and bent back in the center from all the air pushing against it at high speeds.

 

if it does that ill come up with some re-enforcements...hopefully...

 

you can prevent it from wrinkles and stuff , if you double side some plumbers tape or thin sheet metal on the bottom edge. thats whut a buddy of mine did. came out pretty buff.

Is that the stuff that you put on the edges of carpet n stuff? roflmao!!!!!!!!!!! A for effort F for material choices.....

 

I would like a write up, with conclustions saying how it has lasted over the past week or so

 

woza! nicest DIY lip ever i'll say not too bad at all! in fact from me!

 

for a home depot lip its not bad...im just not a fan of the homade lips.
