Well a buddy of mine just swaped a b17 with a obd0 b16 head. When he starts the car regularly and lets it sit without giving it gas, the car wont rev past 2500. Then if he shuts it off and starts it and begins to rev the car will run fine until he drops under 2500 then the car will have the 2500 rev limiter. Its throwing out a code ten. The wiring seems to have all been done right and the car ran fine before with a 99 head so what could be the problem.

code 10 would be "Intake Air Temperature" Try swapping the IAT sensor out w/ another one.

 

We already did and the its still having the same problem..... Could it possibly be something with the TPS.

 

10 code is air intake temp sensor, this will cause the car to run like *** its probably in the wiring if youve already changed the sensor
