Goog God, I just started to blush. Thanks a lot man.

Now mind you, I have had my *** handed to me by these types of cars too. I am not saying I can beat them all, I have just beat a couple of them.

Hey nice setup as usualy. I have one question though? Which fuel rail from AEM did you end up using. The accord one or the Lude. And did you have any fitment problems??
Thanks.
I used the Prelude rail. The thing fit perfect. I had an STR originally, and went to the AEM so I could run my fuel line for the nitrous right off the rail. The AEM fit better than the STR did.

hey james, where did you get your tranny?? mine is starting to go, andi was looking into a new one in the near future. Is the gear ratio on the Accord SIR better than the h22?? cause i was also thinking about rebuilding it. how do you like the SIR tranny compared to the h22??? i got pretty much all the same mods you hav, hehe but have stock lsd in tranny, and fidanza lightened flywheel. one of these days, i would like to race you, but only if you leave your turbo on the living room floor. hehe.
LOL! I will have to make my way down to Gainseville sometime!
As far as the tranny goes, honestly I can not feel any difference in that and the Prelude tranny. I was told it was geared between the normal Accord tranny and the Prelude tranny. They said I would get a better launch than a Lude, and bettwr top end than an Accord. I guess the ultimate would be to use the gears from both trannies.

Sorry, I just reread what you wrote and noticed you asked where I got the engine from. I go t it from Pacific Engines Company in Atlanta. the number is 770 986 7888
thanks........got a few more q's......
for that turbo that is on your floor.....when it gets on the car wont you need a new exhaust manifold?
and.....
(keeping in mind that I dont have lots of money) would it be better to go v-6 or get a car with a blown motor and go H22????
the n2o is all fine and dandy with the tq converter right? not frying it or anything???
thanks again.....
(anyones help is appreciated)

As far as the V6/Swap debate goes, you will find a lot more aftermarket support for the swap. The V6 will be an expensive motor to mod.
I am on my third tranny. The first one had 100,000 miles on it, and after a lot of nitrous, and the H22 (it was the accord tranny) it just gave out. The second one went out after 6 months. It was a JDM Prelude tranny. I only ran the nitrous on it a couple of times. I think it was just a bad TQ convertor to begin with. Do to the fact that from the time I bought it it would shift hard, and slip slightly on low RPM corners when I went to accelerate again.

It's not bad, I think I could take him
hehe j/k, I love your car james, it's one bad ****.

Urban, well of course you can. I have already said that you are the twisty god!
just making the point that horsepower meens very little in the hands of an uneducated driver......... was not knocking your car or kills
Summit Point WV
i am going to VIR in Danville this weekend for another event with several other Accord owners on this board along with many others
I view my progress as a driver and progress on my car in performance not by the types of cars i pass but in running consistent, clean, thought out laps as safely as possible. VIR is 3.3 mile(i think) road course with 125 mph esses and very long and fast straightaway. It is both technical and fast. I am in the hopes that these other accord drivers will begin to realize my points of view so i am not a loner when I say that i do not care whether or not i get beat or who I beat, as long as I know i was driving at the limits of the car and track safely. Going through a fast corner with the tires screaming and car pushing extremely hard to the outside of the track is 100 times more exhilirating than the 120mph(for my car) straightaways
although 120 feels like 200 when you have 100 feet to brake down to 20-30 mph.

I agree with you there. I love road racing. To me it is much more exciting then drag racing. We have Road Atlanta here, but they have maybe one event a year that I ever hear about. I have heard great things about Summit Point. I would LOVE to race it. I need to get up there. I know my skills have gone down since I have not done it in about a year. Time to sharpen back up.
I agree with you also on the fact that it is not what cars you beat road racing, but what you do as a driver with YOUR car. If you can take yourself to your limit and your cars limit consistently, then you are a great driver. You judge yourself by backing up each run with one the same or better than the last.
I have a lot of respect for what you do, and wish I could do more of it.

james....I guess I shoulda been a little more clear....that list is drag right?...and thanks for the help.....lemme know if you find a good e manifold
ul....you seem all offended....dont be....but I was and still am under the impression that big j's list is for drag racing(which I prefer)

i wasn't offended at all..... my original comment was meant as a joke. You picked the right person to ask about the setup that you are going for. It sometimes is hard to differentiate between people that ask questions because they just think that someone has a " mad tizzite ride" and someone who really is interested in how the car is setup. I hope that makes sense? We tend to frown upon non-technical garbage that clutters up the site sometimes, even though I am in no position to judge anybody here. It is hard to learn when you have to spend a lot of time weeding through useless info. Didn't meen to sound the way I did. Sorry and welcome to Honda-Tech
