Default BOV OR NO BOV

I HAVE A INTERNAL WASTEGATE ON MY TD04 19T TURBO AND WAS TOLD THAT I DONT NEED A BOV. I WANT SOME OPINIONS. WHATS THE BENIFIT IF ANY TO HAVING A BOV WITH A INTERNAL WASTEGATE?

You don't NEED one but its just insurance for your turbo. for like 50 bucks why not? there are plenty of stock cars that don't bypass or blow off. I know a guy with a 700 hp grand national that doesn't have one, for whatever thats worth... and yes your wastegate is about as relevant as your spare tire.

yeah... dumb... wastegates and BOV's don't go hand in hand... you need both parts!
