biggest nOOB question of all
Ok, i have been reading alot of threads in these forums and they all seem to talk about the H22 motor, what is it? I have a 97 accord EX manual. The engine says VTEC on it.
H22 is out of the Prelude, or a JDM accord. Its a 2.2 liter DOHC motor. Yours is probably an F22, SOHC VTEC.

The H22 motor is the most common swap for the 4th and 5th generation accords, and its decently affordable for the kind of power it puts out, i believe it is 200hp at the crank, but i cant be certain, so yea, ive seen entire swaps for 1900 bucks, thats what it is, and yea, in the U.S, the motor used to be found in the prelude!
