Default Transmission woes

K, I am to the breaking point. I was driving today and all the sudden I had the hardest time getting my car out of 2nd gear. I had to push really hard and it just kinda came loose, and was fine. The a couple minutes later, same thing. I stopped, checked my clutch fluid, and it is fine. I am scared that my tranny is toast. For a second or two, it sounded like my car was trying to tow or something but then drove fine. I am fairly worried, can someone give me some insight? I know that I need to have it looked at, but what am I likely so hear? Any price ranges would be great. Thanx in advance.

Sounds like you are not disengaging the clutch and or the actual gear connected to the main shaft and te secondary shaft has moved so now the teeth are not in mesh properly. If you can press the clutch and not move then your clutch should be fine. If you drive and it gets louder as you get faster then take it to a tranny shop!

Hope that helps
