Alright guys and gals...

This is going to be my first time ever to California and my second time to the west coast. I plan on taking a weeks worth of vacation time to fly out to Northern California to meet some friends in November. Perhaps staying there for the night if we have some good hospitality.

I will then drive from Northern California to Central California/Bay Area to pick up my new car. Shortly after we pick up the car, we're doing a straight shot to Southern California. We will take few hours to rest and let the car cool down and depending on our condition, we may opt to leave from there or stay for the night. Afterwards we're doing a trek from Southern California to make a stop at Dallas Texas. Then another stop at Louisiana. Then the final leg home to Atlanta.

If you are somewhere along our route, please feel free to chime in. We could use some hospitality along the way and I would LOVE TO MEET some new friends or perhaps put face to the screen names. Not to mention being able to personally thank you guys for helping me out in a time of need.

I'm not exactly sure of our schedule and I got plenty of time to plan. So if you want to help out with the planning, that would be awesome. Basically travel time and rest stops and food stops.

Austin, I will definitely let you know. I've spoken with Rachel, GSRgrrl about airports in northern california and her and her hubby said to let them know. Not 100% sure yet, but definitely want to do the entire tour de california.

Arizona has a lot of H-T members. A few R owners as well. If you know when or if you'd be cruising though we could set up a meet.

If you have the legs to make the longer trip down the coast on the PCH, I'd do that instead of taking I-5 down to LA.

Are you gonna visit Ben Strader, Earl, and Mike (Laskey) in SoCal? They're fun to hang out with. Ben and Earl are absolute clowns...and I guess Mike too, by default.

I would also visit the guys in Dallas too....Art, Stan, MarkC, and stop by Norwood, check out the JFK memorial, eat some pho, etc. etc. Just a few suggestions.

I would love to stop by and meet Ben, Earl, and Mike. Especially Earl.

Art, Stan, and the Turbomafia crew is why I'm stopping in Dallas and staying for the night.
