Default loose radiator

my friend has a 92 accord and her radiator is loose i looked at it and just the top part is loose not the bottom. the mounts that are bolten to the car are snug but theres like plastic with a bushing it looks like that connects the radiator to the mounts and those are loose i dont have any pictures and this isnt probly the best discription but does anyone know what the problem is? or how to fix it? the bushings or whatever they are arent bad either is there just another bolt that conects to the radiator that doesnt have to do with the mounts on top?

Default Re: loose radiator (vince yeah)

are you talking about the mounts?

there's a metal bracket and connect to the metal frame of the car, it's should be tightly fastened.

and there's a rubber mount that connect the metal bracket to the plastic radiator end tank, there's should be some play but not too much.
honda sell those rubber mount by itself if you happens to need them.
or you can do it the ghetto way, squeeze some grey rtv silicone there to cut down the vibration.
