Well if you say all motor - do that. You dont need to create a thread about it. Make your own decisions.

But you go for the respect - to some people that's more important. lol. If you were going to boost the car, the C5 isnt the best motor for the job anyway.

ok well on a serious note though, umm if your giong to drop 3800 dolalrs on a itr swap then you should not beconsidering turbo unless you like to waste thousands of dollars

if your going to go turbo and want a motor to handle turbo then use your stock ls motor or just buy a b16 longblock for like 600 bucks, becaus after you build your motor it doesnt matter what the hell you started with becaus you make it to be whatever you want, just use a b18c5 stock swap and leave it stock unless you want like aintake and exhaust, buy something else if you want to modify it alot

LMAO thats awesome hahaha. I like seeing an all motor car rip apart a turbo car than vice versa. thats the reason pro stock is my favorite NHRA class. 460cid carburated NO nitrous and still blowin out 6 second ets. It's all an opinion here. We aren't arguing which will net mor epower for cheaper in the long run. But a bad *** all motor setup gets props from me over a turbo set up any day.
And as for respect. that is earned. it has nothing to do with your car. Someone may respect your car but still feel you are a complete douche bag. Trust me I know plenty of them.

a lot of vin diesel references in this thread...
stay NA, cheaper engine would have been a better choice if you were going to boost it

lol you guys are funny.

On a more serious note: The type r engine has some nice compression, so turboing it will not make a good mix unless you have alot of $$$$ to throw down to beef up the internals. The engine itsself swapped in may be fast enough. Add an intake and full exhaust/header/highflow cat and it it should scream.
