Airconditioning problem.help please!
i recently got my ac working, but now there is a new problem , when ever i turn my ac on , i hear this ticking noise ( like paper hitting the fan) from behind my glove compartment. my ac worked fine for about a week before i started to have this problem like an hour ago, any info on what it might be whould be appreciated
have you checked the pollan filter which in the fan box behined the glove box(if it has got a pollan filter)
also you might find that the actual fan itself has got a leaf or two in it. try for pollan filter first but for the fan you will need to take it out by removing the glove box and unbolting it from under the box.
as for hondakpx
have you checked to see if it has got any gas in it.
to for gas look under bonnet for the a/c pipes and you will see that there is two points where the gas is filled(they may have caps on), they look like big tyre valves.
once you have found them on one of them remove the cap (if any) and use a drill bit or something simmaler to push the valve in. make sure your face is not directly above it as the gas should come out with speed.
if no gas take to a shop and get it refilled with gas and dye just in case you have a leak as the dye will make it a lot easier to see.
hope this helps the pair of you.
