Frame Locks - On cover of Honda Tuning magazine - 6 page article
I just wanted to post a new subject line announcing that the September issue of Honda Tuning is out and it features a 6 page article on our Frame Locks.
We even made it on the cover too.
I hope this will help our credibility. We really are a solid team of automotive engineers. My mistake in this venture was 1) not getting some actual skid pad or slalom numbers out 2) getting advertising gurus to slick things up (even though the claims are true) 3) Not getting Honda Tech people involved in tryouts earlier 4) Not getting Grass Roots Motorsports involved earlier.....strong credibility 5) Not manufacturing enough up front...now I'm back ordered!
Anyway. I have to hand it to you guys at Honda Tech. Although you guys can be brutal. I have to say that some of you are pretty darned smart and I got the straight dope. And what doesn't kill us will make us stronger and I really think this made us stronger. In other words, I have learned and need to adjust accordingly. I am not afraid to admit I've made some mistakes here.
I know some of you still won't believe in our product and I am okay with that. Some may want to wait until it becomes more main stream before buying. Without sounding arrogant, I think this will set a totally new standard in chassis products.
Here's a couple of paragraphs from the Honda Tuning article:
"With the Frame Locks dialed in we took the cars out for a romp on some city streets, not really sure if we would feel anything significant. Well, it was like night and day. In fact rarely do we encounter an aftermarket handling product that delivers what it claims so immediately. The Frame Locks affected the cars right off the bat, regardless of speed or road setting.
Primarily the Civics felt abundantly more solid over all conditions. We found that especially on roundabout freeway onramps the vehicles were undaunted by lateral acceleration, and mid-corner braking and throttle lift-off did little to un-plant them either. Even over bumpy roads and train tracks the cars handled better. The newfound solidness translated to a much smoother ride and improved steering feel.
The owners of our test Civics were equally pleased. In fact we asked Dinh Ly for his impressions and he gushed, “I took [the Civic] out on a familiar mountainous road where I know all the twists, bumps, and potholes by heart. I couldn't believe the improvement; it was like a different car! Every turn was smooth and solid. The bumpy parts definitely felt less bumpy too. I took a high-speed turn and felt no [frame] twisting whatsoever. Some of the dips in the road were severe, but with the Frame Locks installed the car felt great.”

Solid ride, I tried to contact you about testing a set of the frame locks, I have a 96 civic dx hatch soon to sport the omnipower coilovers. But I never received a response. Are you guys not looking for test cars anymore? I live in the Bay area, CA
