I wanted to get my coupe repainted black and I was thinking of getting the maaco ambassoador paint service ($249). I kno people here have gotten Maaco paint before so im hoping someone can help me out:

How much prep work do they do? Any?

Is there paint any good? DO they give you a selection or is it like the shittiest brand's worst paint and only flat colors?

Can you upgrade like adding a few more caots of clearcoat for extra $$?

Overall is it wirth it for the price? My paint is pretty crappy....

 

it all depends...as for me...im not a show *** so decent paint would suffice me....so yeah, you look at the other stages above that...like maybe in the 400 range...?

 

no i just saw the commercial and was interested,

I'm not about show but the dumbass who had the car b4 me painted the pinstripe into the paint (like painted over it so removing it chips the paint) and i guess between paint coat and clear coat he left it outside or something and there are waterspots under the clearcoat just little **** liek that I want fixed, and some peeling areas. I just want a nice even clean gloss black all over, nothing fancy or anything.
