I've searched and read many posts about having an ECU reprogrammed for the immobilizer in an engine swap at the dealership. Has anyone actually done this?

 

i work for honda down here in san antonio, texas and have done a few with no problem, i think it is a 1 1/2 hour charge....let me know what happens

 

i had sucsess they charged me an hour

 

b18c-93: The first time I called and asked about the immobilizer reprogram, I mentioned the swap and they said "Oh we can't get involved with that," but I didn't tell them that I bought it legally from a junkyard and I had proof. I'll try again tomorrow and see what happens.

 

damn ... i tried to get acure of serramonte to do it for me .... they said they did not have the ability to do that
