I heard from a friend that the S2000 motors are blowing pretty often. Is there any truth to this? I presonally have never heard of this. Any input??

 

What do you mean blowing? Supercharging? There's a comptech blower out for the S2000 - makes decent power from what I've heard.

 

My engine is doing fine, and i autocross with it....no problems..

 

not unless you're dumb enough to overrev it, in which case you deserve to blow your motor (among other things).

 

Yeah there were two articals in sport compact car or turbo. They were still slow though; only 14s... It was a comptech and newspeed I think

That, and not checking your oil. Two most common causes I've heard of are mangling the pistons and valvetrain from an over-rev (arguably caused by the tight pattern of a 6-speed shifter, I hear a lot of similar stories with celica gt-s's), and from cylinder number 4 blowing up (don't know the details) which I think is caused by people running really low on oil, because they run the car hard and it burns oil and they don't check it.
