clutch cable help?!?!?

Default clutch cable help?!?!?

ok i got a 90 crx si and i put a b16a in it and i am having trouble with the clutch cable..its like the bracket isnt right...do i cut the cable or do i modify the bracket???

As long as you are using the bracket from the B16 tranny, you shouldn't have any trouble.

It would be easier to use a Teg clutch cable.

yeah, or what i did was just flip that bracket upside down and it worked, that was for an 89 civic sedan, , don't know if it's the same for your car.

yeah its pretty hard to get the stock civic cable to get in there, it would be easier to use one out of the integra if you have one on hand. But it is possible just mess with it for a bit.

I have the Teg one in my CRX and it's still a bitch to get the cable around that freeking little loop on the tranny.

Lot better then the CRX one.

You can cut some excess from the rubber boot, that works great.

if you dont wanna buy anything, flip the bracket (may need to shave it down a bit) and it'll work perfectly. that's what i did with my b18 swap
