ok i got an xsi engine and tranny complete swap about to go into my 91 si hatchback and i was just wondering what type of axles i will need to use...i have the xsi integra axles but i didnt know if i was gonna be able to use those for the swap or not.
also- is the tranny lsd? i dont have the swap at my house yet its gonna be a couple days but i was just wanting to know if the tranny that came with them had lsd..?
also- anyone know alot about this motor in ef's? i searched and i couldnt find anything in this forum about them...let me know
thanks

just got done with the swap in my crx. i used the xsi axles that came with it. seems to be working fine. and unless you chose the option for the optional lsd, chances are slim that you will have one. i have the ys1 tranny. something you are probably gonna run into is that you will need to use a conversion harness and convert over to obd1. if you have any questions pm me.
You won't necessarily need to convert to OBD1. Is the B16 that you ordered a 1st gen. one? If so, most likely it will be OBD0, so you won't need to worry about a conversion harness. Most likely you will be able to use the axles that come with the swap, hopefully they are in good condition. Also, like it was mentioned, odds are you won't be getting a LSD equipped tranny unless you specified for one when you ordered the motor. You will need to get you shift linkage modified to work with the B-series tranny, or you can probably find one in the classifieds from another member. One last thing, remember to replace as much as you can before you install the motor. It's so much easier to work on a motor when it's not in the car. Good luck with your swap.

yea it has new water pump, timing belt and all other belts, new ac stuff although i wont be using it, and yea its the obd1 xsi engine but its wired allready for an obd0 car so all i have to do is find a obd0 ecu and chip it, whats the best one you guys know about?
Your teg axles work great! You don't have to modify them at all, if you want new ones, just get one from any 90-93 integra. Also, where did you get the motor from? What tranny is it? (YS1, S1, J1) and what year Integra is it from?
