Default S.O.S.>> Crank Pulley queston..

Just recieved my JDM B16A..

Crank Pulley is MUNCHED.. it was off an ITR that had bad crash apparently (the pulley)..

anyway, I need to know if my D16Y1 SOHC VTEC crank pulley can be used on the B16A as a replacement pulley is over $350 AUD !!

SOS as my swap is booked in for the 16th August and I need to have ALL parts ready in time..

I don't believe you can swap a D series crank pulley with a B. I know that all B series will work on each other, but I really don't think the D will.

hmm well at least any B-series is OK.. that's a start..

but man am lookin at $350 AUD > $250 USD just for a inert lump of metal !!

I mean I dont quite know what the pulley is attached to - does it just drive the Auxillaries (power steering and alternator ? or what ?

if that's the case - it shouldnt matter too much should it ?

the ctr pulley works good if you don't have ps or ac.
it's about 2 lbs.
There's one on ebay for $68
