so ive got an ls/vtec with a b18a1 block and a 99 si head. im planning on supercharging it, so would i go with a ls supercharger kit, or would i need to go with a vtec supercharger for like a gsr or an si? please help

correct......your changing the head of the block....and the supercharger bolts to the head. Now that you have a b16 head...you need a b16 charger

I need to know this question as well. 98 LS bottom with 2000 B16 SI head. Will a Type-R kit bolt up? Is the Si kit a M62 blower?

Maybe I should call LHT.....

 

all the jrsc dohc vtec kits came with the m62 blower

A Type-R kit would give you the right belt, since the B18's sit the head ~8mm higher. They might all come with the same belt though, since the tensioner has lots of adjustment.
