Read the rulebook....
If all civics (92-95) are listed on the same line of the rulebook, then your D16 swap is DSP legal.
Otherwise, street mod.

Its in the forum FAQ.

Rulebook is your friend - and the chassis is not the same (sunroof, rear brakes, some other small things). All depends on whether it can be fit in through update/backdate but since I dont have a book with me I cant say one way or the other (I'm leaning towards SM though)

yes, rulebook is your friend. to fill in the things .rj didn't know, the 5th gen civics in SP are broken down by vtec. so, all the non-vtec cars from 92-95 go to FSP. all the vtec cars go to DSP. your car was a CX, that is a non-vtec car which would put it in FSP. since you can only update/backdate to cars on the same line, you would only be able to put other 1.5l non-vtec motors in your car.

Or, you could put a Vx badge on it and the D16z6 swap would be legal because the Vx and the Si are both vtec cars, so legally you can interchange the two motors in either chassis.
Weird loophole, but it works. The Vx chassis was the same as the Cx and Dx.
