loose front end, even after poly bushing install...see pics
Last night I completely disassembled my front suspension and installed all Energy Suspension bushings (only got the drivers side done).
When I pull into my driveway and hit the lip (of the driveway, it's not perfectly flat) I get kind of a clunk. I thought it was the inner lower control arm bushing, but it must not be. The only thing I have left to install on the drivers side is my omni adjustable upper control arm with new ball joint, and the poly bushings for it.
If that doesn't cure it, what could it be? Lower ball joint? Tie rod end?
I have KYB AGX struts and Neuspeed sport springs (1.75/1.5).
Here's some pics.
I don't have a press and couldn't get the old bushings out, so I melted all the rubber with a torch and then honed them out with my dremmel. Then I sanded the bushing down to the size where it would fit inside the original "ring" left over from the old bushing. They're nice and snug.

i had the same problem, and it was my ball joints. 99.9% of the time, that clunking will be a loose ball joint.

You dont "fix" it. You just replace it with a new one. Press it out, press a new one in..and done.

Mine makes the clunk from the front too and i found out it is the ball joints and my tie rod end links are bad...i have the energy suspension bushing kit in the rear of the car and the shift linkage and i like it. front not done yet.

If the bushings INSIDE your rack are going bad, then when you hit a bump your inner tie rods will smack smack smack against the rack thats the way it was in my crx, granted your ball joints will also make a popping noise...
bad ball joints will often squeak too, and you should know if you have a bad ball joint just by taking the pressure off it and wiggling it it will move to a degree.....(meaning it shouldnt move if its good)
also get under the car and grab your inner tie rods, and shake um up and down these should not MOVE AT ALL, they prob. wont since you fellas do have p/s and your racks are built stronger then a manual steering crx, but dont let it bite you in the *** to much.
