Paul,

I think the HPDE's are full, much less do I think I'll have the car ready when I get it back from the cage builders' on the 23rd. I need to get some testing/sorting in before going to SCCA license school in October. I wish I could make it out there, again. Probably later in the year, I'll have my license and actually be able to race with Travis and Danny. And Justin, if he ever builds his car.

Spaceman...yes I'll be racing

Darren,
Which SCCA school? I'm probably doing the event at Firebird in Oct. although not in stone at this point

Travis,
New motor... Cool!!!

Rebuild or new class? Are you running both days?

I'll have a H1 motor in by then along with losing some lbs....from the H2 2575 : )

Rebuilt D16, legal for H4 and ITA. I needed a new clutch and I really wanted an LSD/FD added to the tranny, so I figured "what the hell...let's do it all." I won't be changing classes any time soon. My schedule changes the first week of September and I don't yet know if I'll be able to get Monday off. I'm planning to do both days, but I might have to bail on Monday last minute.

Paul,

I'm aiming for the Cal Club school out here at Streets of Willow, the weekend of Oct. 8th. That's if the car's ready, and I feel it will be able to withstand the pounding of all the track time I keep hearing you get in school. On the other hand, my head mechanic (my bro-in-law) lives in El Mirage, and I'm thinking I'd rather have him with me, to fix the car if anything goes wrong, so Firebird is definitely a possibility, instead. Plus, it would give me another week or so to make sure the cars ready. It's all kind of depending on how well the cage comes out, and how soon I get it back from my welder. I've never raced Firebird, but I know SoW, so I'm in a conundrum as to which one will serve me better. I'll let you know if I'm going to be making the Firebird weekend.

Hey guys,

I'd love to make it to PIR but I'll be out of town for a friends wedding. I might be able to make it Monday but only if I call in sick, cough, cough...

Good luck Travis with the new motor. Just remember, H4 cars are not allowed to pass any H3 cars

Is anyone else other than Paul going up to St. Johns with ProAutoSports over Labor Day? It is a great time and much cooler weather up north.

Erik,

I had a change of plans....

I decided to do another event at Willow Springs in Sept instead of the St. Johns GP after having such a good time running in SoCal/Nv the last couple of months. The SoCal tracks are so diferent from ours!

I'll be in HPDE 3, Red CRX Si, B16, if I can find some stiffer spring rates I'll hopefully have those on, otherwise only changes will be the fact that the car is gutted, and I'll only have 2 seats, and finally have a 4(or 5) point harnesses, to keep my *** firmly in my seat. I'll also hopefully have my overheating problem solved completely and be able to run each session in it's entirety.

Crap, I better make sure I finalize my order for a lsd. What final drive did you go with i'm contemplating what ratio to go with. I'm looking forward to some good racing this year.
