Proud new CRX Si owner! Very productive weekend!
Well as many know I have had nothing but problems with my 88 Std. I could never get around the wiring problems, and after selling my turbo parts, and then the car breaking down again I was fed up. So Friday I attemped to fix my hatch for the millionth time and got nothing but more headaches.
I was basically like **** it. I looked and the paper and saw an ad for an 88 CRX Si, needs motor and tranny. I call up the guy, look at it and buy it. So I had the car towed to a friends house where my hatch was and begin pulling out the motor of the hatch.
We get the motor out on Friday night, so Saturday morning I begin to wire up the Si harness for the OBD1 dizzy and injectors. I then install the OBD0-OBD1 jumper harness and OBD1 ECU. (sold ALL of my OBD0 parts) We drop in the motor and she fires right up. Only code I have is 02 sensor, that is a good thing since there isnt one yet. All in all, I am very happy with my new CRX. It is JDM B16, YS1 tranny, and a P61 92 GSR ECU, fully OBD1 converted. I will try to get some pics up as soon as I can. So RIP to my 88 Std. hatch, JDM B16 SC61 powered
But I am slowly falling in love over again with the Rex. Comments welcomed

I used to like my hatch more than crx's but then basically I had real bad luck with that hatch and I got a rex now I like crx's more than I do hatch's.
You'll soon fall in deep love with the crx.

YEYEYEYEYEYEYEYEYEYE Finally no more long nights of trying to figure out the hatch back Robbie. We had a good week-end. Not to hot at the house. The motor swap went very well for us and it runs GREAT better than the hatch back. REVS better and all. I'm already in love with it. I drove it the past sat. night and sun. The car is in very good shape and clean. We will take some pic tomorrow of it. The turbo hatch will be missed but all in all I think the CRX will be better and will turn out better in the future.

Yup Yup the swap was fun. Very well done. As for the REX it is very clean, the only thing was the RED ROOF. Everyone will be safer with the CREAM PUFF off the streets, but she will be missed.........

Thanks, I am actually keeping it on the motor for a while, I kind of want to get it painted and do some suspension work before I start with the motor
