Default good deal?

a guy i know wants to sell me his old 2.25 inch piping for a catback, obviously i would need to get a muffler, but do you think 60 is a good deal? he said its a little rusted, i would need to weld new hangers on, and that it sounds somewhat ricey when you get on it... but if i got a new muffler it would sound better and deeper wouldnt it? what muffler do you guys recommend for this piping?

I wouldn't buy it.

If you know it needs all the new parts and sounds bad, why would you buy it?

In all honesty it would be better to have your own custom catback made rather than buying one that needs so much work.

ya dude it would be way better...and plus if you go to a muffler shop you can get eht same thing for that much new...so. i would invest in a nice exhaust as of now, dont settle for crap like that

custom cat backs sound like **** if you are going to spend the money on one of those you should save a little more and get a good one, i.e. greddy, apexi, thermal etc. but if you insist on getting a custom one please please please have them weld your resonator back on to the piping!
