Reasonable price for 95 prelude?
I am looking at buying a 95 prelude and wondering if the asking price seems reasonable to some experienced prelude owners as i have never had one or really compared prices. The following are the specs that i know of
115,xxx on the body
rebuilt H22 recently
full exhaust from headers and 2.5" piping
full adjustable tein suspension system
17 enkie 6 spokes (needs 2 tires)
alarm w/ remote start and auto window roll up
lower end dvd player and 5" screen
2 alpine type-r 12s in customized box
mb quart components
dynomatted from front to back
a-pillar A/F and EGT guages
5" tach w/ shift light
indiglow digital gauges
thats all i can think of right now...he is asking 7000 for it. does this sound reasonable, if not what would a reasonable price be? any input would be apreciated...thanks, Adam

Oh so the dvd player and the tein suspension is worth nothing? Of course you can get more money for a car like than than just stock.
i would go off the Edmonds price too... and what he is saying is the quote you will get from them is not going to take anything except those into the price of the car. But if someone was offering a fully customized prelude that booked at 10... i would probably be willing to pay more for it because of the other stuff.
If you want to stay within book though, dont take those things into account. If you are willing to pay more for a great sound system, dvd player, etc, then do... but keep it reasonable. Its not going to be worth the amount more that he paid to have that stuff installed.
Oh and also check NADA pricing.

Get the VIN on that car and get a history report on it, you never know what kind of problems you may run into, I'd also advise asking him just what he means by "a rebuilt H22", because if the stock block was completely rebuilt and finished, I'd think he would be asking for ALOT more than 7 grand. I dunno, bring some friends and inspect the car if you have too.
