whats a good radiator to use for a h22 crx ? my stock radiator broke on the HF and im planning on swapping it out for a high performance rad, one that'll be perfect for the h22.

i have plans on boosting the h22 aswell and have heard that the del sol dual core rad is pretty good at cooling the h22 but i'm not sure if that'll be the same case for a boosted one.

 

Simple......the 92-95 civic Rad.

Half size will be required due to space limitaitons of the H22 and Turbo stuff.

Or unless you got $$$ and want to go custom.

 

BUMP! I'm using the del sol rad with absolutely no problems and i've driving my car very hard on the hotests days this summer..

What are people noticing when they go with a turbo setup - are the coolant temps going up significantly?

certain model and trim year neon mounts to the mounting points on the CRX....its kinda rare to find, but its half the size and uses two stock mounts. Try searching for it. You'll find some info on it.

 

anyone have the c&r 'shorty' radiator installed in their rex ?

in case anyone is wondering about the neon, i believe it is the 95 neon that will fit pretty close to stock in EF.

just got my hands on a 94-95 ?? del sol rad. they say it's the same as the civic rads but i have no idea.

as of now, it doesn't clear the hood and i really can't mount it any lower without banging the crap out of the stock lower mounts (that are welded onto the frame). soooo......im just gonna gut out some of my cf hood, it won't mind. other than that i'm using the stock upper mounts from my old rad for the lower mounts, with some work. haven't really figured out what i'm going to do with the upper mount.
