Hi im dave and new to the forums..

As i live in the uk. im about to buy a 93 hondacivic vti - same as the SI in the states. the vti has 160bhp B16 dohc v-tec

What kinds of performance parts should i go for? We got alot of turbo boys around here. and i wanna run with the big boys....

Our Si is not the same, just to let you know. We didn't get a DOHC VTEC motor in a civic (if you don't count the del Sol) until the '99-'00 model year. If you're already thinking of going turbo, invest in some engine management, like Hondata, and prep it with stuff like new injectors and fuel pump. Then you need the turbo and all related equipment like piping, intercooler, blow off, etc. You have a lot to learn if you want to roll with a Cosworth, chief

hi dave, welcome to honda-****.com......if you would like performance from your civic you have to first decide what you want out of your car. first ask yourself if you rather go all motor or forced induction, as both have their pro's and con's. you can find much info on turbo or N/A b16's in the forced induction forum and all motor forum. since you said you wanna hang with the big boys, chances are you'll be chilling in the forced induction forum. if you don't know where it is here is a link. good luck with your car

Well if i could get ragged on for not doin a search when I was new then he can also.... besides what does him having a b16 sir have to do with anything? So if somone has a decent car its ok for them to not spell vtec correct or for them not to perform a search?? I think not. he said v-tec....nowhere did he even put an h in there.

definately forced induction.... actually Vortech makes a nice bolt on Supercharger along with drag etc making a good turbo kit. Like stated b4 check the forced induction forum and see what u find in there
