scared I think something went inside the head
Well Ive takin my valvecover off cause I had some issues with my car not starting because of the distributor. So I figure my timing belt jumped timing by a couple of teeth. So I took the valvecover off to check, but as i did I think I may have dropped a valvecover washer inside the head im not sure if I did or it probably went into the enginebay or not.
Uhh I heard a slight loud thump inside my car but nothing happened though but im not if it was a rock. BUt I know its plastic and metal at the same time am I screwed now what will happen im very scared right now . And plus im tryin to have the head built not far along from now what can or should i be aware of???? Cause im praying i dont screw up.

My advice is to park it till you can pull the engine and tear it down to remove whatever it is that fell in. If you don't know what it was that fell in, treat it as though it was a big chunk of metal that will totally **** your engine up if not removed. Car pool or something, but leave the car where it sits.
Dude, what i would do is act like you are putting it back together, but dont really put it together. As you go through the steps somewhere along the line you should notice that you are missing a part, be it a bolt valve retainer or whatever. If you are missing something than thats prob what fell in and you should work on getting that out.
