Default Stolen car MN

I've read numerous posts on this site about stolen cars in MN. Never thought it could happen to me. Last night someone stole my baby. Building a honda\acura isn't worth it if you can't park it outside for two nights. Please let me know if anyone see's anything, I know there are a lot of MN people on here.

Damn man, I'm sorry to hear. I'm local, I'll be up in St. Paul anyways today so I'll look out for you.

Could you PM me some info. on the car? Plate number (if you want), anything that stands out (wheels, intercooler, etc), exactly what area of st. paul it was stolen in? I know a lot of St. Paul H-Ter's who could help find it.

Also, hang out at the foodsmart lot tonight at midway and look for your parts.

Plate HLV-228
Partially built b16
precision sc60
hondata s100
Drag mani\intercooler

I don't even want it back, I'm sure it will be stripped. If I get it back I would build it again and it would probably get stolen again. I always parked in the garage. ******* theives.

I'v got a buddy with a 98 GSR, broken in to twice, stolen once. And a buddy with a 97 Civic broken in to twice...all just for the Radio. with in 24 month's.

Minnesota is bad, there must be seminars on "How to break into a Honda".

I'll keep an eye out for your's.

****!! another one!! damn bro...now i've got two cars i've got to look out for. i'll ask around to see if anyone has any parts and stuff. damn...MN is beginning to suck *** i know i stay up every night till 4am on the weekends before i hit the sheets just to make sure my ride is safe even though i have a pretty decent alarm system and my car is right in front of my window. if you go to midway tonight...hit my cell phone up (651)206-3999. we'll meet up and you could give me a list of what you have and how to identify them. one way or another i'll try to find some of your **** for ya cause i'm currently trying to find Jordan's(JDMisGOOD) stuff. i swear...if i ever come across someone try to jack another person's car, i'll beat the living daylight out of them and leave them in the streets to rot.

sorry for your loss man!

why does everyone say they are going to look out for cars that get stolen?
Are you really that dumb and think your going to see someone driving it on the street?

Most theives aren't dumb enough to drive it around. Its already been stripped 1 hr after its been stolen. common sense people.

I thought I was the only one that did this. Made up random numbers, and engraved em everywhere on everything. Intercooler, Turbo, Turbo Manifold, Downpipe, Intake Manifold, Charge pipes, Couple places on the head, a bunch on the block, tranny, ECU, and I let my insurance company know, and I took pictures of everything, got 2 friend of mine who are policeman to sign a statement saying that the pictures were taken on this date, wrote down all the numbers on all the parts, as well as any VIN and Serial numbers. This way I'm hoping that if my **** ever gets jacked i'll actually be able to prove that the stuff is mine and get it back.

if you're nervous about that, take a GOOD HARD LOOK at your insurance policy, and see how they word exactly what's covered. mine says if it's attached to the car it's covered (so a cd wallet wouldn't be, but a cd player would). secondly, if you're worried about rates going up when they see what's done to your car, just do the other steps--get people to sign a notarized statement saying that the photos were taken on such and such day, the engravings are as follows, and then if something happens, turn it in to the insurance company so they are forced to cover it all. save all your reciepts too.

They found it today in North Branch at 5:23am. Why the **** was it in North Branch? The cops said it looks like just the frame is left. He said they took the doors, fenders, seats, everything. They took the ******* doors? Now I am concerned about the insurance money and getting what I have into it. I added some of the parts up yesterday and almost **** myself. I guess thats why I never wanted to know what I had into it. I am still looking for more reciepts but was wondering--
For all you guys that have had their cars stolen and insurance claims what do I do? I have reciepts and pics of all the **** done to my car. Do they give me what I paid for it or does it depreciate? Also kelly blue book showed a trade-in value of around $8500.00. Is that what I should expect. And what about labor? I would assume that isn't covered? I use State Farm and called them about coverage before. They told me as long as I have reciepts and it is bolted to the car it's covered. Is it really that easy?
