Default Turbo exhaust question

Alright.... I am having my DP made by spoolin performance.... a 2.5" a/c compatable with a flex pipe. I plan on getting a high flow cat, exhaust piping from kteller with a resonator. The only thing left is to choose a muffler. I was looking at this muffler on ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...33636 Im not too familiar with megan..... does anyone know if they are of decent quality? Im just trying to get some ideas of which one to use, so any sugguestions are more than welcome. Thanks for the help.

I've never heard of a "Megan" muffler before. You have to becareful w/mufflers because the cheap ones sound horrible after a year or so. I would stick w/the bigger and more popular brands (Weapon R, Greddy, Tanabe, etc) I hope this helps. Goodluck!

my buddy is using the apexi n1 on his talon and its just about this best sounding exhaust iv heard. It's a deeper throatier version of your typical coffie can muffler. personally im running 2.5 downpipe to 2.5 straight pipe all the way back. no cat, resonator, or muffler. It's a deep sound but not to loud.

I actually have a 3" version of that muffler on my Maxima. Quality doesn't seem to be too bad, I've had it on for over a year now and it's still holding up. A friend of mine has a Blitz muffler on his Maxima, I'm sure that's the one Megan copied as they look the same. We're both running turbos, 3" exhausts, no cats and our cars sound identical.

If I had more money at the time, I probably would have gotten an Apexi or something along those lines, but the Megan does work.

hmm.... after reading around i was thinking about a n1 style muffler. either that or a straight through magnaflow oval muffler. people that run any magnaflow exhaust seem to be more than pleased. thanks for the reply, keep them coming.
