i have an 99 accord ex 4cyl 4 door and my boy at honda is scared to install my 02 simulater, is this dude a ***** or no? , can i just go to an import shop or what, if any of you guys know of any worhty shops in colorado please let me know

my first thought.

 

o2 simulator

is an electrnoic device, for those who use testpipe or other means that lose their o2 sensor.

it produces a signal to the ecu.

they should operating with a voltage of 0.0-1.0 volts


when using a testpipe with the bung for teh second o2 sensor, you will get a CEL. normally the CEL pops on since the ecu will not be able to detect a volage.

Customers who are OBD2 and are still running OBD2 ecu, often are affraid or hate seeing the check engine light *CEL* when running a turbo or NA. This often happens when using a Testpipe or no catilitic converter. Carsound without a O2 bung will also do this. ECG has released the O2 simulators.This little device is piggied on to the wiring harness and will fool the ecu from thinking that the secondary 02 is reading the correct voltage. Unlike other simulators on the makert which still throw out the check engine light, ECG has checked and fixed all bugs. They are available for all OBD2 honda/acura.

found some doors im more than likely gonna be buying from a local junkyard.. 2 for 200 bucks... not a bad deal if you ask me... and i got a fellow HTer sellin me some oem mirrors for 50 bucks shipped that about takes care of almost all my exterior work.... now i just need to wait for a check and get the center pillar pulled out and do some rear quarter panel work and im all back to normal. i think im gonna paint the car either black or same exact color as my wheels... what do you guys think... black cb7 with dark grpahite wheels or dark graphite wheels and car. both sound too good to me
