Default ECU and SAFC problem

I have a PM7 ECU which I am replacing for a chipped and socketed PP5 ECU to run my turbo d16 honda. What I am wondering is, can i burn a basemap onto a chip and keep the SAFC there for fine tuning untill I get home and then burn another chip based on what I had to change on the SAFC. I have wideband LM-1 on its way so im guessing I just plug in the wideband try and keep it stoich all throughout the rev range by adjusting the SAFC (on the move) then reburning another map till i get closer and closer to my cars desired ROM. Does this sound about right? Im new to alot of this tuning lark...
Thanks in advance

is there a rough formula for if i change 1% on the SAFC -1% or +1% i can determine what to change on the MAP?
Thanks

I cant believe noone has done this? There must be plenty of tuners that started with an SAFC then upgraded to chipped ECU... but used the two both simultaneously
All im wanting to confirm is that I can change ECU (fuel) settings real time with my SAFC connected (i.e. on the move) to my new PP5 chipped ECU and how can i work out how to mimic the changes I make on my engine map with the changes I make with my SAFC. I have 450dsm injectors if that helps.
Thanks

Yes, you can do it... you can also vary Uber'd maps by % if you want, I'd think that a 5% adjustment on the SAFC would be close to a 5% adjustment directly on the Uber maps... You've got a WB though, just adjust the maps until you get the same a/f and can zero the corrections through the SAFC.
