my stock ls over heated due to a leak in my radiator that i did not notice, well i replaced the radiator but it seems like im loosing compression, well actually i am loosing compression, should i replace my piston rings or would i be better of replacing the block, wich is more costly and wich is more dependable, im thinking about buying a new block

if your block overheated, you might want to make sure you didnt warp the head. if everything is fine but youre losing compression, it really all depends on how much compression your losing and the inconsistency of the test.

 

what are the compression #'s?

 

i did not do a compression test, my car is just not responding as fast when i press the gas, it gets hesitant, but when im on fifth and on the freeway it drives smooth
