I am going to be getting some new shocks in the next week and I am looking for suggestions on which ones I should get. Post any positive and negative experiences that you have had with different shocks. Money is not an issue I just don't want to spend big bucks on something thats not as good as a leaser priced shock.

 

What springs will you be using with these shocks?

Like at you mating them to lowering springs..are you putting coilovers...are you xcrossing or just daily driving??

 

I am going to be putting some coilover on also, and it is pretty much a daily driver for now. Once I get my swap done and get turbo kit installed it will be a street/ race car. So I will need some that are good at the track as well as the street.

I'd get some Koni Yellows and Ground Control Coilovers. Its the best non-true coilover setup you can get.

Plus the Koni Yellows are adjustable so you can stiffen them up for racing and soften them for the street.

 

The Koni Yellows are probably the best shock, but they are expensive. Since, you say youre getting coilovers they may be warranted though. Just my opinion, I like a spring better than a coilover for ride quality.
