i finally got my R home today @ 12am. i am so relieved. now i have to go to my
drawing board to create a my R... i finally got my R, i am so.... overjoyed its making me mad. Pics will be up on sunday, so the project R is underway. picks of each stage will be posted when they are available.

So far these are the parts that i need:
Plasma Cluster (im in the process to buy one)
CF pieces (anyone selling a set?im interested)
roll cage/bar (anyone selling a set?im interested)
Spoon parts (steering wheel, TB, header[possibly or T1R])
Mugen (intake, header[possibly, still deciding])

If anyone knows who the person in canada with the mugen sticker from front driver's fender to rear quarterpanel, tell me i would like to know. ill post the thread if i can find it. Or if he could tell me where to get one, it would be greatly appreciated.

 

As far as I know, the mugen sticker is discontinued. You might find a replica on Ebay

 

I have a integra gsr cd player I can sell you if you want, it was used for about one month (the first month) of the car's life and has been sitting ever since. I have the code card as well, let me know...

 

But why the Spoon Ventuli Plate? I've heard bad things.

Sounds like you need to figure out what you want out of the car, rather than just throwing (expensive) parts at it.

i agree. figure out what gains you want then look into a set up. brand name parts don't always add up to lots of HP

you're talkin about the OG sticker huh? That sticker's bad ***! hahahaha. I want one for the S2k. Anyways, your recipe sounds like you're tossing everything into a blender.

Yeah it doesn't sound well thought out man. Sounds like you just have money burning a hole in your pocket.

Ventuli was never designed to be for itr.

And from the list it looks like u plan on doing some sort of sanctioned racing. Either autocross or road racing.

And I'll tell you this......everyone will agree. The last thing you want to do is add more power to the car when you don't know how to raod race or autoX yet. All you are going to get is a bunch of dents from cones, dirt from spinning out off track, and a bruised ego.

If anything......if you NEED to spend money on it, get the roll bar and harnesses. Get a helmet and some gloves. Just safey stuff that will make you more at ease when racing. All that other stuff is just bling until you can actually drive well.

Trust me you will SERIOUSLY REGRET putting all this stuff that people can see. My car was stolen and many other R's were stolen because they looked nice.

Doom is great. When I am done with this windows 2003 migration I'll setup a 8bitdeathmatch CTF doom server for the guys in GD&D.

Seriously though man. I think your priorites are kinda screwed up man. What are you going to do with all thos bling parts when you don't have a motor?

I am rebuilding mine too....but my plans are way different. First I need to get it rolling(brakes) . After that I can tow it and get the motor dropped in. All that other extra stuff u listed should come after.....way after.

I just don't want to see u fix up a non-running shell, and then have a post where it says someone stole all the parts off your non-running R.

Just get it moving man, the faster u do that, the faster u'll realize u don't need that other ****. Safety items are the first thing to get after it's running. Just my .02

 

its never bad to have TOO much power. I really see no problem with learning to drive with a high horsepower car and with the way these intergas handle and drive, I really dont think you can get into too much trouble at the track. Just dont be stupid. good luck

its just a stock guage with a cheezy indiglo face over it
1. you will never take a B series to 13k
2. the stock tach is not accurate
3. the stock tach is really inaccurate at high rpms
4. that indiglo kit is gay
