Default For those with Razo Sports Pedals...

I was looking at the A+H Motorsport website for these, thinking of asking my gf to get me some for Christmas this year... They don't give much description of them, and I've never seen these in person. Are those of you who have them happy with them? Do they screw into the rubber pads on the pedals?
And lastly, they seem to have two sizes for manual cars, Small and Large; which ones fit our Integras?
Thanks guys - I did try a Search for this info that was probably covered at some time!
PS. The Mugen one's are much nicer, but a bit too $$$ for us!

If you ever plan on doing on driving on the track stay away from the "clip on" type pedals - lots of people I have spoken with say they are a bit unsafe. Get some performance pedals that bolt onto the pedals directly - yeah, you have to drill your pedals but it is worth it.

I have a set of OMP pedals on the way...

I don't really see a downside to drilling, after all, you can always put the stock rubbers back on and you'd never know the difference.

Here's one case where it's OK to reuse a rubber

Btw, I have the Razo carbon fiber pedals and have had to tighten them once in 2 years, overall, not bad and they definetly let you control the car better.

Are you saying Razo's are the cheap clip on style that don't even screw into the rubber!? I was under the impression Razo's were pretty good, but maybe I'm mistaken...

And what (where) are "OMP" pedals?

OMP is a racing company... they make seats, pedals, shifters, steering wheels, suits, shoes, gloves... anything racing related.

The OMP pedals are very nice and quite cheap. Much better value than Mugen's and just as good, or better.

They bolt "onto" the pedal as opposed to "into". There are brackets that go behind the pedal and hold them fairly secure.

How about these!

IMO: I like the look of them better than the Mugen, but there slippery when wet!

I've had my razo pedals ~2 years & never had a bit of problems or had them come loose. I don't see any reason not to spend ~$28.00 for them...much better heel/toe.

Note: I did have to cut one bolt shorter 'cause it caught on the carpet (barely) but that's no biggy. My old momo pedals sucked because they didn't fit properly {they were drilled/screwed into the pedals}

I've had Razo's for 2 years as well, never a problem. My driving consists of daily driving (go figure), autoX'ing and an occasional track event (only did one so far).

-Aoib0t, who missed the SpeedTrial event.

The only problem that I have with my Razo pedals are that I can use my leather soled dress shoes with them. I don't have any grip with them on. So I usually wear my running shoes while I drive and change to dress shoes when I get to work.

Also, I've had no problems with the pedals getting loose.

If your GF wants to get you some Razos...and you like them...by all means, let her get them for you. She'll be happy that you're letting her get you something for your R.

If I could do it again, I'd get the Carbon Fiberish ones. Be careful if you have an autolock though, cause j00 can scratch that area.

-Aoib0t, who scratched his, but oh well

I have no such problems with the Mugen pedals... even leather soled dress shoes stick to them like glue.

That's why if I could do it all over again, I'd get the Mugen. But little me didn't know any better.

i have had my razo carbon fiber pedals for about 4 months now. no problems whatsoever. good for me, since at work my shoes get grease on the bottom and the rubber protrudings enable the sole of my shoe to grip well. one of the reasons i got them. and i didn't use the stick tape for the gas pedal. didnt need it.

My Razo brake pedal recently fell off when I was driving and I wasn't able to brake properly because it cuaght behind the pedal. Scary! I would only get bolt-on pedals now!

That is what I am talking about. Even the possibility that this might happen leaves a very bad taste in my mouth. Imgine that happening on a track...

BTW, this isn't the first time I have heard this happen. Be safe...

I work at an audio/video and mobile entertainment store and we just starting carrying Ichiban shift *****, and pedals. I think it's funny when people come in it's the first thing they look at. These things are such pieces of crap!!!! If it's wet out they're gonna cause an accident!! Or when they fall off, whichever comes first.
