im not sure on the 99-00 hoods. But i took my stock 98 HB hood out of the garage and took it too the scale. I know its prolly a little off. but it might give you a basic idea.

Trav why didnt you just weigh yourself and then weigh yourself holding the hood?? Then u just subtract ur weight from the second one...

didnt think of that! plus im a heavy guy and would feel more like a FAT ***. but since you thought of it! sure I will do it! be back in a few with pics and numbers!
ok i am 233.6 on a digital scale.
with the hood in my hands im 263.8
it = 30.2lbs
here is a pic of the digital scale!
