Default pix of my d16z6 just put in this week





motor has new timing belt/pcv valve/water pump/rear main seal/crank seal/cam seal/valve cover gasket set/spark plugs/spark plug wires i get it back monday :D

motor is stock/ obd 1 jumper harness w/p28 and vtec controller, exedy clutch

Got a Z6 with a ecu adapter harness from JDMSh!t.com and a obd0 to obd1 converted engine harness from Nikitad
Im looking forward to having vtec in my EF hatchie

i'll post how my mini-me runs when it gets finished, 10.3:1 compression with skunk2 intake manifold, comp cams stage 2, 4-2-1 header, etc.

he runs 14.7@89 i run 14.5@96 i stayed obd0 though and am running off a pr3 ecu got a cel for the knock sensor but it still goes into vtec. raced my friend with b16a in his crx with bolt ons and drag radials i walked him every time.

17hp with 8lb/ft more torque that a d16a6 and you guys are running 14.5s and beating up on b16s, how is that possible? Am I missing something here?

maybe his d16z6 isnt stock if hes running 14.5 or maybe the b16 guy is in a heavier car.

yea its not stock, intake, header, exhaust, zex 59300 cam and compression was only bumped to a 9.9:1. i need better 60's and more seat time and it will get lower.

those are two differnt things kuruma tuning is a shop in hayward i went thru to go with this swap they do gr8 work
