Default Went to the dyno today Here are the numbers

Setup: 1998 ITR

B18C5 stock head
2001 ITR cams
CTR pistons
JDM header
Skunk2 exhaust
AEM CAI
FPR

No cam gears or VAFC... I'm very happy with the results... with some cam gears and tuning I can get 190+ without cams and that is pretty good

Made 180.8 HP and 128 torque... guys please let me know what you think

Not bad. Add a VAFC or some other version of fuel tuning and I think you'll see some better numbers, and will be safer.

Nice Numbers Neoh.. I've personally seen and rode in this car and it sounds wicked.

I think that deffinitelly a VAFC and some camgears should help you out to gain like 10 more ponies.

Its really not bad..Ive seen other type R's dynoed 190whp with Juns 3, sprockers and a lil head work... so 180 for what this car has is very very good.

very nice dyno man. I made 177 and 127 with a dented header and Hondata so you're doing very well for having so little fine tuning equipment. Keep us updated.

Instead of a VAFC, I would suggest picking up Hondata and getting a thurough tuning done. If you're going to spend the money to do it, you might as well do it right the first time.

That has absolutely no relevance to this thread. There are way too many variables involved to compare the numbers together. You're comparing apples to watermellons.

What's the compression of the CTR pistons in a B18C5? 11:1 like the JDM ITR?

Here's the graph of my car so you can compare the powerband difference NeOh 2ning

Mods in sig.

B18c5 with ctr pistons will be higher than 11.5:1 cause jdm integra pistons and CTR pistons are very different. The car puts out 290 psi on all four cylinders with stock cams and stock headgasket. The engine was blueprinted and built by me with OEM Bearings and piston rings stay OEM folks is pretty good. i will go this week to tune with cam gears i will let you know guys. Today i received the cams i ordered for the car after 190+ without cams i will put the cams in they are wicked industries stage 2

Umm, ok. Edit your post and add in some punctuation along with better grammar and we might actually take the time to read it. Don't insult others by not taking the extra 1 minute to correct your grammatical errors before you post.

Hovick - who isn't a spelling ****, but takes extremely careless grammar as an insult.

Lol man..No offense.. it wasnt really directed to you(even though u have Juns), yours is not the only ones ive seen in P.R and outside.. Look at Kid Si's car..He has also some stuff and is making the same 180whp.

You have a great R man.

I think your car is capable of way more.

No worries dude I'm just tripping with JO and NeOh because I put all that effort into making 190hp and now the car is getting reconfigured again .. And yes, I desperately need a new clutch .. but all in good time Peace dude !!

To back up the differences in the Pistons, here ya go! LOOK AT THE DOME SIZE

The cams should give you some good juice. You got the compression now, just a tad more air in there and you're going to have a even meaner beast.

Default Re: dyno numbers

good numbers!! I have JDM B18C5 bottom with USDM head(CTR cams w/ adj cam gears). ITR 4-1 header and hondata and Apexi WS exhaust. It dynoed at 179.9 and 124.5 tq. (+4/+2 on cams) Also have Skunk2 IM and 68mm TB. So your higher comp matches up with my mods... 230/233/230/233 was what each cylinder had for compression... I would highly reccommend hondata, if nothing else, got 3-4 mpg better fuel mileage... also much smoother power delivery...

Where do you come up with this info? You do know some stock motors are around that compression and use 91 octane right.?
