Default Andy Hope is a ricer

When I saw the car they had to jack it up the exhaust tip was so big. Perhaps he is going to enter the show car class at mid-ohio?

Andy gloats about being a ricer, and if you call him on it, he'll just call you a hater. See ya tonight ricerboy.

Nice sponsor plug for Valvoline Synthetic. Now we know what oil Andy runs.

I know its a joke, but most people don't see the dynopack up front like we have also and that big canister is muffler cars run when they are dynoing to reduce the noise level. What kind of numbers did you put down?

Andy's not a 100% ricer, since he dyno's his car in addition to running a boatload full of more-is-faster stickers.

I'm encouraged by the idea that a Ricer like Andy Hope can climb his way up thru the pitiless ranks of this cruel sport to find himself racing in the big one against the best Honda-Challenge drivers in the country in H1 - the Pinnacle!

Scott, who thinks maybe there's hope for his own self...that is of course if his head not a splode...

Me too, it's good to know that some ricers can actually race.

Default Power figures

Yes, the muffler is a truck muffler for the dyno.

Shawn & myself tuned the engine. As for numbers, if I was Andy I'd be looking at putting much bigger tires on the front to get traction.

Actually, it's the same engine. It was in my CRX this season (the evil twin of the gold CRX's). AFAIK, it was rebuilt specifically for Andy to use in Ohio, since my car is going through some changes and doesn't need any more power than my 2 feet pushing it.

Oh, and it made 232whp when it was tuned on the same dyno by Shawn Church back in February. It also used 225/50-15s and needed every mm . Joe Alaniz makes a damn fine race engine .

Oh, and it didn't do too badly at Sport Compact Car's Time Attack earlier this year:

Doesn't look like 232 hp does it?

Also doesn't look like much of a "show kaa" to me. Andy's is much prettier, but then again he doesn't have a job, which means plenty of time for polishing. What a ricer.
