I emailed VIS a while ago about making a carbon trunk for the 4th gen and this is what they said: "Need about 15 people prepay for one, before we can make one. Thanks"

how much does one gain from a carbon trunk?.....what's the difference between weight on the carbon trunk and the stock trunk?

Mine made a difference of nearly 10lbs, but i think the difference in Carbon hood vs. Oem hood is where more weight will be lost.

 

i thought it would be somethign like that...and i doubt that the carbon trunk will last as long a the factory trunk....so to me it looks like this is not a good investment... i am not trying to knock any...i was just surprised at the idea
