b16 or h22a swap on a 92 eg! which one?
hello all...! how much will it cost to completely swap a b16 to a 92 eg compared to a h22 swap on a 92eg? not really looking for speed, which will be a good platform for daily driving..? how dependable are these engines going to be after the swap...im really having a hard time deciding and hopefully you guys can help me out. school starts in a few weeks and i was thinking of getting a new ep3 but i wont be able to afford a new car working 20 hrs a week... i have some money saved up and not really sure which way to go...to buy a hatch then swap or get another car....please help me out...! thanks

b16 nice for daily driven complete swap 2750.00 installed, if you have the $ for an h22 swap i would recc. a GSR swap or even ITR. a b series in an eg makes a way better daily driver compared to the h22... just my 2 cents
thanks for replying...! those used engines that they sell, most of them will have 30-40k miles right? will those engines last another 100-150k miles...when i do the swap im not looking to race the car or anything like that...will they be dependable? one more question, what kind of problems might i encounter doing a swap like this...?

my CX hatch is still stock height and it handles just fine. We'll see how it goes with some APC Coil-Overs
Axles, again no problem because still stock height, it does take a little more work than a B-series (drilling holes for the shifter assembly and cutting the side tranny bracket).
As in time wise, it depends on how well you know your stuff. Money, depends on what kind of hookups you get
