Fuel Pressure Regulator
Hi, i have a 98 civic ex coupe d16y8, 5spd. I need to get a fuel pressure regulator, but the honda part is like $200 bucks canadian, but the B&M regulator only $54, but its an adjustable one, how do i adjust it and at what psi should i adjust it to?
Thank you
Thank you
you unscrew the nut and if you turn in the tip to the rite i believe your increasing fuel pressure if you turn it to the left your decreasing fuel pressure once ur done you hook the nut back on but dont tite thenut tooo tite just tite like hand tite. anything more then hand tite next time u try to loosen it the middle thing may turn with the nut. so watch out and htere isnt a way to find out the correct fuel pressure unless you get a fuel pressure regulator. you also need a fuel pressure regulator in order to install because you need to cut it. dont pay 200 bucks find one on hondatech for chepaA good luck.

Correct, just get an aeromotive it replaces the entire FPR https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=874035
Keep in mind, you will also need a gauge that will show your FPR, so add in like another $40 to that. See if you can find a used stock honda regulator on ebay or at a junkyard, thats what i'd do
