Can someone give me some tips on this problem? The only conclusions I've came across is that the throttle body is not sealing right, therefore extra air is pushing through the crease where the throttle body meets with the intake manifold. The throttle body gasket is brand new, so that wouldn't be the problem? Can someone give me some much needed advice? Thank you.

I'll make sure to do that...but I isolated a leak by spraying some parts wash onto the bottom right, where the throttle body and intake manifold meet. I'm definitely clueless. Throttle body is torqued down to specs but I still have that leak in that area. Any suggestions?

Silicone what? Are you saying i should put hondabahn where the leak is??? The leak is located where the throttle body meets the manifold...when I spray parts wash into that section, my rpm drops from a whopping 2,000 rpm down to about 1, which in conclusion, there definitely is a leak causing my idle to jump up. Do you know what or how to fix this problem? Thanks man.

do you have the fast idle valve hooked up still? The valve under the throttle body?

car is running lean......add fuel some how...either vafc, chip ecu.....
What's that all about? If you read the post, I said I determined there was a leak where the throttle body meets the manifold. I replaced the TB gasket with a brand new integra type R one, and the leak is still located at the same exact place. And for the Fast Idle Connection...where is that located? I don't know if I even have it, etc. Thanks again.

If the fast idle valve isn't hooked up, wouldn't my ecu throw codes???
i had the same problem a month ago when i installed my gsr TB on my b16.
the fast idle thermo valve is located under your TB. mine does not have coolant running through it and it wont give a CEL. just do this trick and problem solved
