I can get a great deal from a friend on a Greddy Power extreme.. wanted to know power gains, and also how loud is it??? Also is it better than the Greddy Evolution muffler. Any comments, pics, suggestions are greatly appreciated thanks again.!!!!

 

All I know is that it looks cool, and it sounds really good. It is pretty loud too.

 

Both Greddy EVO and PE are loud, IMO.

The EVO is similar to the PE..

WOT it's loud, with a turbo it's quieter until you hit WOT...

basically it's loud

If you do what I do and drive when going on vacation... you wont like it.. I was stressed from the noise after 13 hours straight....

 

I've had my P.E. exhaust for about 2 yrs. now. The sound is a little loud, but it's still deep and sounds good (to me, at least). I really like mine. It's about the same as the EVO. Except, with the EVO, the exhuast tip is off-set toward the bottom of the muffler can, making it less of a clearance problem with speed bumps, dips, etc.

Two months ago, I would have given a glowing review of the P.E. However, within the past couple weeks, I've started noticing a familiar rattle coming from the muffler. I got rid of my old GReddy S.P. because the "through-pipe" rattled loose inside the muffler can and made the most obnoxious sound. Unfortunately, my P.E. might be doing the same thing.

 

Greddy PE is very loud if you punch it hard. Otherwise it's a nice little growl.

The problem is.... EVO is the replacement for the PE. The reason is muffler can design as well as a design flaw on their resonator. The weld around the resonator is prone to rust and cracking after a few years. I've already warrentied my PE and was shipped an EVO. Much better but still a pain as they won't ship you a new one without sending back your old one.
