Default DX front disc brakes on an HF

The pads and rotors on my HF CRX are just about toast. The rotors are warped and the pad wear indicators are just beginning to make noise. I know the DX model had bigger front discs. After doing some parts research online I know that the rear drums, proportioning valve, and rear drum wheel cylinders are the same on the HF/DX. Only the front calipers and rotors have different part numbers.

I know Si brakes would be better but I can't buy all the hydraulics and 14"+ rims/tires right now. Also I know a junkyard where I can get some DX calipers on the cheap so my question is will they bolt to the existing HF knuckles? Is anything else different (besides the rotors)?

I used Search and didn't come up with anything. Thanks!

well from what i have seen i wouldnt think so because the dx rotors are larger in diameter so where the caliper bolts to it needs to be changed for a larger rotor

you'll need the entire knuckle..then you'll have to either re-use your hf hubss (is that even possible?) or change to DX axles.
