opinion on autozone water pump compared to OEM?

Default opinion on autozone water pump compared to OEM?

anybody? I believe AMC makes autozone water pumps. How do they compare to OEM?

same ****** **** i work at autozone and have compared them...and we warrenty it for life..

Since they guarantee them for life, I'll bet you'll be replacing them for life...every 10,000 miles. EVERYONE I know with whatever cars they have bought the Autozone pump, 10-15k later, drip drip. Went to OEM, never looked back.

I usually look to buy stuff that doesn't have a warranty (except Craftsman). If you need a warranty to feel good about the product you're buying - especially something as much of a pain in the *** as a water pump - it's probably not the most reliable product. Just look at the warranty on Kia's.

Agreed. Unless the warranty will pay for labor to replace the defective water pump (or other part) it's not worth much.

Yeah very true. OEM is a bit more but in the end it is worth it. The only thing I wont buy OEM ******* spark plugs. Those ******* got me for like 4 bucks a plug!!!

cant go wrong with oem.... especially with vital parts like that.... you might save a little bit now but in the long run you'll end up paying more.... trust me i work at honda....
