Default 91 accord tire/suspension...seeking advice

I just got my new wheels and tires for my accord today. It's a 91 4-door. I got 17" Katana KR-7 with some 205x40?x17 tires. The tires are entirely too small. Smaller than the stock ones. I am going to call the place I got em from and see if he will give me some 215s instead. Should I go for a bigger tire than 215 or will that fill the wheel well better? I really don't wanna mess with lowering the car unless I have to. If so, what kind of springs would give me about a 1.25-1.5 inch drop all around? Where could I get them for a good price. I am on a really limited budget after buying these rims. Any help would be appreciated.

First of all, how wide are the rims that you bought? If they are 17x7 then the 205's should fit just fine. Also different brands of tires fit differently so you might want to consider a different brand. if you have 17x7.5's then you will definately need a wider tire As far as springs go, I have H&R's and they have really made a difference in the performance and looks(i.e. wheelwell gap) You also should consider Eibach's. You can get each of these spring sets for under $200. Also check ebay I got mine for $125 brand new. Good luck
